As promised in January’s New World dev update, more server merges are set to roll out around the globe.
In an update posted to the game's official forums, New World community manager Luxendra said that there will be "two separate times listed for these merges" and – in a list so long I can't replicate it here – listed every single world that will be affected by the changes.

New World has run into several issues post-launch. Gold dupes, problematic server queues, and combat bugs were just some of the problems that players encountered, and were certainly one of the reasons New World has had a difficult time retaining players. In the January 25th patch, more bugs surfaced, resulting in disappearing items and more. Luckily, AGS was able to get a handle on the problems with an emergency patch a day after, that fixed some inventory problems, but additional fixes finally rolled out last week meant to tackle some of the ongoing issues related to items disappearing when dropped and picked up too fast.
The development team announced a bunch of changes hitting the game in two waves, beginning today and concluding early tomorrow morning. These changes will take to servers in the regions Central EU, US-East, US-West, and Australia.
Amazon Games' New World has seemingly dropped around half of its one million player base since it launched a month ago. An analysis of the data freely available on SteamCharts suggests the MMO has been losing around 135,000 players a week since it launched at the end of September, at which time it hit an impressive concurrent player peak of 913,027 players on October 3.
